Endoscopy Nurse – NHS Insourcing

Endoscopy Nurses Wanted – Sirona Medical is currently recruiting experienced Endoscopy Nurses to support an established NHS insourcing service at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Endoscopy Nurses looking to undertake additional shifts within a hospital environment while supporting the delivery of essential patient services and helping to reduce NHS waiting lists.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure care.
- Support consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team during endoscopy sessions.
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention, patient safety and clinical care.
- Ensure accurate completion of clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the insourcing team to ensure efficient patient pathways.

Essential Requirements

- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience working within an Endoscopy department.
- Competence in assisting with gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and endoscopy safety procedures.
- Ability to work confidently within a busy clinical environment.
- Relevant mandatory training and compliance documentation.
